From Tony Manning: "Mills" was Connie Mills owner of the then grocery shop opposite now occupied by Alliance & Leicester. .Lack of a qualified dispenser meant it could only be a "Drug Store" selling proprietary medicines potions cosmetics etc.Later the business moved to the single story extention added to the grocery shop so premises then became a private residence..She was the daughter of "Gunner" Mills who operated the grocery shop previously and also purchased from local residents Wild Mushrooms,Bluelegs,and Wild Blackberries which were sold to College Kitchens and traders in Cambridge.
