I used to live at the 'old post' office (No. 3) in the late 80's/ early 90's. Does anyone remember when it functioned as a post office?

Taken from in front of Sam Burgess's gates. The shops on the right are now the hairdressers. The second shop used to be an electrical store (Kilburn's). The first house on the left is Reg Johns' house.

It was used as the rectory until 2000 when a new Rectory was found on Rampton End. Last Rector there was Liz Hubbard.

Possibly there was a lane behind these houses on the left, called Dog Lane (?), marked by the tree line behind the houses.

Ringers Rest is the house whose gable end you can see. Taken from here I lived in Denmark House or "the co-op Flats both as a boy and when just married.
