This is in Green Street, it used to be a pub called The Vine, and was later owned by my nan & grandad (Vera & George Bidwell) A many Willinham Feasts were spent here on the green in front.

I have now been informed that John Thurston Jnr has identified the man as his grandfather Stanley Thurston, and it is believed to be the early 1960,s

I think the man in the foreground is John Theodore Thurston, son of Stanley Thurston,at this time, the dodgem track would be built up to the left of where he is standing, and the trailer would park on the grass between him and the photographer
