Yes Overcote Ferry and the last Ferryman was Jack Cook who lived at Chain House.Must have been early 30's as the old Chain Ferry stopped about then but he continued to take Pedestrians With often their Cycles on a light Punt which he handled with such skill he made the operation looked almost effortless

Yes, definitely the Mill House in Station Road. My Uncle and Aunt (Bernard and Gwen Hart) lived there for many years and before that I think Ingles lived there. My grandfather (Charles Garner) was head gardener at the Mill House at one time.
