Before Rev. Watkins restoration. If you look at the church today you'll see a little window to the left of the end aisle window. This was uncovered by Watkins 100s of years after being bricked up. The inside of this window contains the oldest wallpainting in the church - dated around 1240.

Here you can see how the church porch looked before Rev Watkins came in 1896. The windows were completely rendered over.

This is the village "fire engine." It was kept in the church porch in the late 19th Century when the church was effectively closed down
