The girl is olive Raven (nee Dodd) - my grandmother, aged about 16, making this 1927. Olive is till going strong, aged 97, in a home near York near to her son Tony.

Interesting info on Green St. Andrew. However, I'm sure this picture is of the current Co-Op. See also Slides20_09

From AndrewC: I think it the shop in Green street, until recently the antiques shop.
I remember it in the 1970,s as being run by Mr Wally Daniels and his wife. prior to that it had been run by the Silk family, obe of whose daughters married dennis Jeep's brother Maurice, who lived next door.
