Four cottages called School House Yard behind the almshouses in Church Street. I lived in the one on the right. There were also some more cottages just behind the existing almshouses.

The cottages on the left were on Church Lane, facing the cemetery. The cottages on the right (just visible) faced the infants' school playground.
The newer house at the back fronts onto Earith Road next to the old Rose and Crown.

FaIrly sure it is Station Road with the mill formerly in the garden of the Mill Housein the background, plus the chimmney from the engine latterly used to drive the mill

Hilda Waites my grandnother is actually the cousin of Annie. They were raised as sisters when both of Hilda's parents died in the same year. Don't know who the gent is.
