Barn fell vitim to arson, unfortunately the Willingham Scouts hovercraft was stored inside and was destroyed. The trailer it sat on survived however with only the loss of its tyres.

Gas Mask Drill
When I was at the Old Infant School during WW2 the Pavillion on the New Rec was used as a gas shelter and we had to walk through with gas masks on to make sure we were safe if we had a raid.
